Beloved

January 3, 2018

God shows His love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. Romans 5:8

Even me.

God loves even me – a rebellious, prodigal daughter.

The one who gets it so wrong.

The one who’s harsh with words, quick to judge, selfish and self centered.

The one who loses her temper and swears.

I am His beloved.

My name is written on the palms of His hands and nothing can snatch me away.

Not my sin.

Not my doubt.

Not my anger or unbelief.

Nothing.

His love isn’t conditional.

It never changes.

It always protects, trusts, hopes, perseveres.

His love never fails.

God doesn’t look away.

He sees me.

Look into the eyes of a Savior.

Behold and Be held.

Safe in loving arms, refuge of strength.

Jesus loves with an everlasting love.

Unstoppable.

Unshakeable.

Unbreakable.

His love isn't based on what I do but on what He did. Click To Tweet

His nails.

His cross.

His death.

This is how we know what love is: Jesus Christ laid down His life for us. And we ought to lay down our lives for our brothers and sisters. 1 John 3:16 NIV

I come in poverty and need.

My penalty price is His life.

“Come, Follow Me.”

Lay down my life, pick up His cross.

He remembers my sins no more.

Let the striving cease.

Grace for my grime.

Serve the Creator, not the created.

In my weakness, He is strong.

Lift the torn veil.

Know that I am deeply loved.

For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, so that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life. John 3:16 NIV

I don’t deserve it and I’m thankful that nothing changes His love for us!Even Me I love that quote for so long I struggle with truly believing that God’s Love was not conditional for me . I’m so grateful I know now I can do nothing that He would take His Love away even me that is so undeserving. 1. Hey sister friend….after reading your comment, I know why God connected us….so much of what you express is my heart. I often write what I need – and I need to be reminded God loves me no matter what. Thank you for taking the time to read and share with me. It means so much – more than words can say – that God used it to show you that you are His beloved. ❤️ Love you back!
