“Come weary, come worried, come tired, overwhelmed. Come now into His Presence. Be loved. Be held.” –Morgan Harper Nichols
Come as you are – weary, worried, overwhelmed.
Come.
Come to the King, He waits for you and me.
He longs for burdens placed at His feet.
The ones I hold and hide – sleepless with worry.
Hand over my hurts.
Come as I am.
Stop striving.
He waits for control clenched fists to open and receive.
Receive love, peace, rest.
Receive righteousness for rags.
He's in all the hidden places I think He can't be. Click To TweetNo mess is too big.
There’s no one He doesn’t want.
Call on His Name.
Crawl in His lap.
Shame undone.
His love holds.
Hope shines brightest in dark places.
He never leaves or forsakes.
He loves me when I can’t love myself.
He loves me in bad decisions and wandering.
No matter how far I go, it’s one step back.
There’s no condemnation, only celebration.
What was lost is now found.
Come as you are.
There is a Father waiting to welcome you home.
Be held.
The Lord your God is in your midst, a mighty one who will save; He will rejoice over you with gladness; He will quiet you by His love; He will exalt over you with loud singing.
