How long must I wait? Will you forget me forever? How long will you turn your face away from me? Psalm 13:1
Jesus sets a race before me – one that requires endurance.
To build endurance, I must wait and endure.
- Circumstances I don’t like.
- Relationships that press but don’t crush.
- Painful past.
- Dreams turned to dust.
- Hope on hold.
Faith perfecting tools in Holy Hands.
He endured the cross while despising the shame.
He tells me not to grow weary.
A harvest of blessing is coming.
Don’t give up.
He hears my cry.
In His Word I hope.
Grace of God.
My hope is in You, Lord.
Hope and shield.

The mess of circumstance.
The mess of my heart.
The mess of me.
Dirty hands raised in worship honor Him.
He doesn’t care where I’ve been, He cares where I’m going.
Robes for rags.
Life for death.
Bread of life, living water.
Water that restores, renews.
Soul hungry no more.
Multitude of sins covered by love.
Love that gives, breaks, bleeds.
Love that keeps no record of wrongs.
It doesn’t point fingers, instead opens wide to deliver and embrace.
Never lets go.
