God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble. Psalm 46:1
Jesus never leaves – He is with me always.
He stands with me.
He stands with me in success and failure.
In celebration and sorrow.
In victory and defeat.
He goes before me.
He says, “Do not fear”.
He is my refuge and strength.
Ever present in times of trouble.
God is faithful – He strengthens and protects me.
He gives me courage and upholds with His righteous, right Hand.
The Lord my God guards me with understanding.
His wisdom watches over me.
He spreads wings of protection so I may rejoice in His love.
He answers my distress and delivers me from enemies.
Though I walk through the valley, I do not fear.
I am pressed but not crushed.
Perplexed but no despair.
Persecuted but not abandoned.
Struck down but not destroyed.
God is my rock, my refuge, my shield.
He is my stronghold and salvation.
I need not fear for God is with me – He stands beside me always.
What, then, shall we say in response to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us? He who did not spare His Own Son, but gave Him up for us all – how will He not also, along with Him, graciously give us all things? Romans 8:31-32 NIV
