Kingdom Keys

October 31, 2018

Being asked by the Pharisees when the kingdom of God would come, He answered them, ‘The kingdom of God is not coming with signs to be observed, nor will they say, ‘Look, here it is!’ or ‘There!’ for behold, the kingdom of God is in the midst of you.” Luke 17:20-21

The kingdom of Heaven has come near – it’s here.

A portable palace contained in a King.

A kingdom not of this world.

Holy Spirit, Holy ground.

Righteousness, peace and joy reign.

Blessed are its citizens.

Eternal inheritance.

Faithful servants.

Love everlasting.

But the Advocate, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My Name, will teach you all things and will remind you of everything I have said to you. Peace I leave with you; My peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid. John 14:26-27

Prince of Peace, Lord of Lords, King of the Kingdom.

His peace, His kingdom now reside in me.

Wherever I go, I bring the kingdom.

Let me not forget His perfect love.

Not just a hearer but a doer – love in action.

The kingdom of God is not about talk but of power.

Power to heal.

Power to transform and overcome.

Power to save.

The old has passed away.

There is no condemnation for those in Christ Jesus.

He forgives inequity and remembers sin no more.

Book of life blots transgressions.

I forget what’s behind me for what lies ahead – an endurance race marked with good works planned just for me.

Hope and a future.

Plans to prosper.

Forgive as I’ve been forgiven.

Lay down every weight, every sin that bogs me down, keeps me from the Lord’s lap.

Take up my cross – the one crafted just for me.

Love God, love others.

The kingdom of God is in me - I am a conduit. Click To Tweet

Love and truth lived.

Faithful forgiveness.

Salvation secure.

Promise fulfilled.

Life everlasting.

    1. Wonderful post, Liz! I appreciate this reminder that the kingdom of God is within all who believe. It is an incredible treasure we carry around in these jars of clay and we feel so humanly imperfect, that we forget how powerful and eternally blessed we are to be Spirit-kingdom bearers. May we glorify God in every way possible! Bless you!

      1. Hi Melissa! Thanks for an awesome comment…it’s like you wrote what’s in my heart. I pray and ask so often without expectation or even believing it will happen…and that is where I fail – I limit His power in my life. So thankful for His loving grace and mercy. You said it so perfectly – thank you again for the blessing of your words. ❤️
