Love Endures

November 7, 2018

Now is your time of grief, but I will see you again and you will rejoice, and no one will take away your joy. John 16:22

O Lord my God, I cry to you for help.

The night stretches long but morning will come.

Your promise preserves my life.

You are my portion, my salvation and grace.

You delight in Your people and remember sin no more.

Deliver and rescue.

Stronghold.

Shield and refuge.

I trust Your Holy Name.

Your unfailing love is priceless.

Fountain of life.

The grass withers and the flowers fade, but Your Word endures forever.

You give strength to the weary and set the oppressed free.

Break every yoke.

Bind up broken hearts.

Give strength and courage to the weary.

Even in the darkest valley, You are there.

You never leave.

Rock eternal.

Abounding in love.

Transcendent peace.

Refuge for the poor and needy.

A shelter from the storm.

Shade from heat.

You brought me out of darkness into love’s light.

Broke chains of sin and death.

Gave me a new song.

The Lord upholds all who fall.

Lifts up those bowed down.

New beginnings and second chances are His specialty. Click To Tweet

He is righteous in all His ways.

Near to those who call on Him.

Calls stars by name.

I put my hope in unfailing love.

“Because he loves Me,” says the Lord, “I will rescue him; I will protect him for he acknowledges My Name.

He will call upon Me, and I will answer him.

I will be with him in trouble, I will deliver and honor him.

With long life I will satisfy and show my salvation.”

He holds me by the hand.

Guides and directs.

I will not fear.

Great is His faithfulness.

Hardship and trial may come but the Lord endures forever.
