Mountain of Peace

January 30, 2019

I am beyond excited about this post – it features the beautiful photography of Theresa Flaminio. I met Theresa on Instagram where her amazing images captured me. (I am in love with her photos of wild horses) For anyone who doesn’t believe you can form real friendships through social media, you are wrong. Theresa has become a treasured friend and I’m excited to share her talent of capturing God’s creation. I’ve included a link to her Instagram at the bottom where you can view even more of her photos – she is both an artist and a blessing – to God be the glory.  All photo credits – Theresa Flaminio

“For the mountains may depart and the hills be removed, but My steadfast love shall not depart from you, and my covenant of peace shall not be removed,” says the Lord, who has compassion on you. Isaiah 54:10

Mountains may fall but the Lord’s love never moves.

Steadfast.

Strong.

Secure.

Rock of salvation.

Covenant of peace reconciles.

Mercy gathers.

Great is His faithfulness.

Love everlasting.

Love that endures.

Blesses.

Promises, protects and provides.

Love that covers my sin.

It never fails.

He longs to gather me close yet often I am unwilling.

Stiff necked.

Stubborn.

Clenched fist.

His unfailing love for me (and you) can't be shaken. Click To Tweet

God of all the earth.

He calls me back with everlasting kindness.

He says to remember my past no more.

Jesus, my redeemer.

Refuge.

Strength and shield.

Savior.

The Lord my God never changes.

He stays with me through the fire.

Leads me beside still waters.

He meets me in the middle of mess and says, “take my yoke”.

Light for heavy.

Supplies every need.

My strength and song.

Perfect peace.

Everlasting rock.

Rest for my soul.

Lord Jesus and Father of all, Thank you that you are faithful – you never change. You are my strength and refuge in time of need. You don’t dwell on my past or the ways I fall short – you care about my heart and where I’m going. Thank you that you are good and you have a plan to use all of it – the good, the bad and the ugly. Help me to live in the shelter of Your Presence and Your Word. You are my Abba Father, El Roi, the God who sees me, El Shadid, all sufficient. Thank you for loving me. Thank you that you never leave or forsake me. Thank you that your Word says all I need to be is still because you fight for me. Help me to know you and love you better. In Your most Precious and Holy Name, Amen.

Fueled by coffee and compensated in cuddles, Theresa Flaminio is a stay at home mom of two and the wife of an army veteran. She loves any and all chocolate – without discrimination. She is a firm believer that the ordinary can be extraordinary if we choose to see it that way. Her interest in photography started at a young age, but it wasn’t until recently she started fostering her passion. She believes in giving all the glory to God – after all, it’s His creation she captures. You can see more of her beautiful images on Instagram or find Theresa on Facebook here.
