Blood:Water is an agency who partners with African grassroots organizations to address the HIV/AIDS and water crisis.
Blood:Water works with existing organizations to provide what each community needs in the form of wells, clinics and latrines. Safe, available water not only is a cause near and dear to my heart (and my son, Joey’s) but it’s a solvable problem. In 2016, Americans spent $655.8 billion on black Friday. In 2013, the World Health Organization estimated that it would take $400 billion to get water to everyone around the world. (most recent statistic I could find)
Through Blood:Water, one clean water well costs $3,000.00 and transforms the health and life of a village. My prayer is to raise enough money to buy 1 well in 2017. Joey and I will be brainstorming fundraising ideas this year and will post what we’re doing and donating.
