Truly, truly, I say to you, unless a grain of wheat falls into the earth and dies, it remains alone; but if it dies, it bears much fruit. John 12:24
Those who sow in tears reap shouts of joy!
Sow in hunger and need.
Sow in belief for what’s to come.
He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High abides in His shadow.
Under His wings there is refuge.
Seek the Lord.
Shield of faithfulness.
Sow righteousness, reap steadfast love.
Deceitful desires die.
No longer do I live but Christ in me.
Faith replaces flesh.
Lost and found.
Life laid down.
By His wounds I am healed.
New creation raised to life.
Put off former ways.
Righteousness reigns, sin no more.
The old passes away.
Chosen and precious.
“Come, follow Me.”
His burden and yoke are light.
Whoever loves life loses it.
The wages of sin is death.
Do not lose heart.
God has done what the law weakened by flesh could never do.
Weakness perfects His power.
All sufficient grace.
Pressed and crushed, old skins do not hold.
Death brings forth new life.
All I lose is gain.
Broken bread, poured out wine, God so loved He gave.
Whoever believes will not perish.
Jesus sets you free.
Father God, Lord Jesus,
Thank you. Thank you for Jesus and all He accomplished on the cross – there is no life without death. Show me what I need to see – what I need to give up, put down, leave behind. Believing Jesus is my only hope isn’t just learning or knowing, it’s belief backed up by my actions. What I do and how I live reveals what I truly believe. Living for me doesn’t leave room for you – it isn’t a relationship. Using someone in times of trouble isn’t relationship. Knowing who someone is isn’t relationship. It is only love and devotion revealed through obedience and transformation of character that reveals relationship. As I walk with You, I become like You, the old passes away and it’s undeniable. You make all things new. Thank you for your love, grace and mercy. Thank you I don’t have to be perfect because you did what I could never do. Help me to love you and know you better. In Your Precious, Holy Name, Amen.
