Jesus replied, “A certain man was preparing a great banquet and invited many guests. At the time of the banquet he sent his servant to tell those who had been invited, ‘Come, for everything is now ready.’ ” Luke 14:16-17 NIV
Come to the table, it’s prepared just for you.
Everyone is invited.
Come sinners, come saints.
No need to clean up or dress up, it’s come as you are.
Robes of righteousness are waiting.
It’s not what you do, it’s Who you know.
Taste and see that the Lord is good.
Those who trust lack no good thing.
His ears are open to our cries for help.
No one who takes refuge in Him will be condemned.
Take your seat among misfits, sin and shame stay at the door.
Liars, thieves, lusty and lame, sit down and be set free.
No one is unwelcome.
Come to the table, all who are weary and carry burdens so heavy.
He gives rest for your soul.
He fills the hungry and satisfies the thirsty.
Bread of life, living water, thirst no more.
Jesus knocks on heart’s door, love’s key unlocks.
Door swings wide, once outside, now invited in.
Arms wide open, love everlasting.
All are welcome, friend and foe.
Seated at the table, welcome home.
